Membership

Slovenian Actuarial Association currently has 60 members. Most of them work as actuaries in Slovenian insurance companies and other financial organisations. There are three types of membership: full member, associated member and honorary member. At the time, there are 36 full members, 15 regular members (contemporary status) and 9 associated members of Slovenian Actuarial Association.

Detailed conditions for full membership are set out in "The Rules on Criteria for Full Membership in the Association". A person applying for full membership must have at least three years' experience in the actuarial profession and the expertise prescribed by the Groupe Consultatif with regard to full members. Compliance with the full membership criteria as set out in the Rules on Criteria for Full Membership in the Association is determined by the Actuarial Commission.

A person who has been practically and/or scientifically engaged with the actuarial profession for at least one year may become an associated member of the Association.

A member or other person having merits for the work of the Association, development of the actuarial profession and science and its application, can become an honorary member of the Association.
